We use a
very unique farming technique. We appreciate and value the land
in which we harvest from, therefore, we feel that it is our
responsibility to care and tend to our farm as naturally as possible.
We are not a certified organic farm, but we avoid all harsh &
dangerous chemicals. We only user certified organic sprays on our
produce and we also try to use natural insect deterrents, like certain
flowers, which we plant throughout our vegetables.
Here at Triple J Farm we pride ourselves on using our land in the most
sustainable and life enhancing ways as possible. The biodynamic
approach is an all natural approach to farming, which is similar to
organic farming. With our farming practices, we do not sure harsh
chemicals, we use mixed ingredients, which are certified organic to
control weeds and insects. The mixtures contain herbs, compost, orange
peels, etc.... We do not use any antibiotics, growth hormones, or any
other stimulates.
Our
farm uses our compost as fertilizer and as nutrients to our land.
We also use the proper crop rotation in insure the best quality
products and to protect the prosperity of the land. We also try
to raise all our row crops which provide feed for our cattle and other
animals. If we have to purchase harvesting crops, we always
purchase from other local farmers.
